From The Past Pages Of Dawn: 1975: Fifty Years Ago: Soyuz lands

MOSCOW: Soyuz-19 with cosmonauts Alexei Leonov and Valery Kubasov landed softly in the steppes of Soviet Kazakhstan today [July 21], after completing its part of the first-ever international space mission with three American astronauts. Immediately after touch-down at 1050 GMT, helicopters set down beside the capsule which lay on its side. Two minutes later the hatches were open and Soviet mission commander Leonov emerged. Bulky in space suit he waved to the cameras. He was followed closely by flight engineer Kubasor. ... The only problem the cosmonauts had during their time in space was with the television cameras, which prevented viewers worldwide from seeing some the planned live picture coverage in space. Meanwhile, the three U.S. astronauts … are continuing their orbit… . — News agencies
