All but six of the 435 voting members of the US House of Representatives opposed Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s amendment to reduce $500 million in funding for Israel’s missile defence systems, Drop Site News reports.

Greene argued the US already gives Israel $3.8 billion annually and shouldn’t be funding the weapons of a belligerent, nuclear-armed state.

The five members who voted supported cutting the funding alongside Rep Greene, were Thomas Massie, Al Green, Summer Lee, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.
