LARKANA: Activists of Pakistan Peoples Party and PPP-Shaheed Bhutto organised separate functions to observe the 40th death anniversary of Com­r­­ade Shahnawaz Bhutto, the youngest son of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, in Naudero on Friday.

PPP held Quran khwani at Naudero House where food was distributed among participants after prayer for the departed souls. Later, the party workers visited Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto and paid their respects at the graves of Com­rade Shahnawaz Bhu­tto, his father and founder of PPP Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, his slain sister Benazir Bhutto, and other Bhuttos.

Ejaz Leghari, chairman of district council and general secretary of PPP Larkana district; Nisar Murad Bhutto, former MNA Nasiba Channa and others attended the programme.

Activists of PPP-SB held the anniversary in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto where Quran khwani and collective prayer were held for the departed souls.
