SUKKUR: A gang of outlaws shot dead two young boys on suspicion of being ‘police informers’ in Imamud Din village of Jacobabad on Tuesday.
Reports from the area suggested that the attackers were relatives and gang member of Allah Bakhsh alias Alabo Banglani, who was killed in an encounter with CIA police a few days ago near the Thull town of Jacobabad district.
Apparently to avenge Banglani’s murder, the armed men stormed their way into the village and shot dead Abdul Qadeer Banglani and Abdul Subhan Banglani, accusing them of having given a tip-off to the police about Alabo’s whereabouts.
It was reported that a shootout with the boys’ relatives also took place when the intruders attacked them.
An FIR of the double murder has been registered at the B-Section police station on the complaint of the victims’ uncle, Mohammad Sadiq Banglani.
A total of 15 suspects have been named in the FIR.
