Five workers injured in roof collapse
SARGODHA: Five workers were seriously injured when the roof of an old building collapsed as solar panels were being installed on it near Lak Adda on Sillanwali Road.
According to sources, the workers were building concrete support for installing solar panels on a candy store in a closed ice factory when its roof collapsed.
The roof was made of girders and TRs which could not bear the weight and caved in. As a result, five workers were injured. They were shifted to DHQ Teaching Hospital. The injured workers could not be identified.

According to sources, Muhammad Azam shot wife Shahnaz Bibi, 58, in the head and fled.
The police shifted the body to the THQ hospital for a post-mortem.
ACCIDENT: A motorcyclist was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle near Eagle City.
Tahir Bilal, 25, of Chak 49 North, was travelling on a motorcycle when the vehicle hit him. He died on impact. His body was shifted to DHQ Teaching Hospital by rescuers.
