At least 45 Palestinians have been killed and dozens wounded by Israeli forces as they waited for aid at the al-Tahlia Roundabout in Khan Younis, Al Jazeera reports.

“Emergency, intensive care and operating rooms [at Nasser Medical Complex] are overcrowded with the large number of casualties and deaths,” said the health ministry in Gaza.

The latest carnage came at controversial aid sites operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, backed by the United States and Israel, which operate in areas controlled by the Israeli military and that critics have slammed as “human slaughterhouses”.
