Francesca Albanese, the UN’s Special Rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territories, has said that Israel has “pulverised Gaza, reducing most of it to a red zone to be ‘cleansed’ of Palestinians”.

“Everywhere, in every area, Israel is killing without respite. Civilians. Dozens killed daily. Everywhere. So many of them are children…,” Albanese posted on X, sharing a video of seriously injured children lying in an open field.

“And they have the audacity to call it a war,” the envoy added.
