At least 21 people have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since this morning, sources at local hospitals tell Al Jazeera.

Israeli forces have hit buildings east of the Jabalia camp, Al Jazeera staffers on the ground were quoted as saying.

They also said an Israeli helicopter fired at several homes east of Gaza City.

More attacks in northern Gaza, including near Jabalia and Beit Lahiya, were also reported by Al Jazeera Arabic.

Attacks in Jabalia destroyed several residential buildings, while an attack in Beit Lahiya’s al-’Atatreh area injured an elderly man and a girl.
