Family park turns into sewage pond

DERA GHAZI KHAN: The only family park in Taunsa Sharif has turned into a sewage pond because of the continuous dumping of wastewater from surrounding residential areas.

Residents have long been raising their voice against the deteriorating condition of the park, but neither the tehsil administration nor the district government has taken any action.

The park, once a recreational spot for families, now stands as a symbol of neglect and failure of the Suthra Punjab project.

Instead of promoting cleanliness, the project failed to prevent the accumulation of sewage and filth in the park, turning it into a health hazard.

Residents have made an appeal to the chief minister to take notice of the situation and restore the park to its original condition for the wellbeing of the community.
