RAHIM YAR KHAN: The police used drones to target robbers in the Katcha Rajwani area and injured many suspects on Saturday.

According to a press release, the police, led by District Police Officer Irfan Ali Samo, are conducting an intelligence-based operation against Katcha criminals and the operation on Saturday left many ambushes of robbers destroyed.

The police used armored vehicles, Elite Force commandos, long-range weapons and modern technology in the operation on receiving a tip-off.

Using drone technology, they traced the gangs’ hideouts and movements and dropped explosives on targets.

DPO Samo reiterated his resolve to continue the targeted operation in the Katcha area.
