DADU: A thunderstorm coupled with strong winds hit Dadu and Jamshoro districts and their adjoining areas on Tuesday.

The strong winds brought down many electricity poles resulting in power outage in most areas of the districts. Civic infrastructure was also damaged creating disruption in utilities’ supplies and road communication.

The affected areas included Gorakh Hills, Nai Gaaj Dam, Kachho belt and parts of Johi, Khairpur Nathan Shah, Mehar, Bhan Syedabad, Sehwan and Manjhand.
