TAXILA: Police on Thursday arrested two persons on the charges of sexually assaulting, making videos and blackmailing a 10th grade student in Dhilian village in the limits of Pindigheb police station.

The victim reported to the police that his neighbour took him to a farm on a motorcycle where two other persons sexually assaulted him and filmed him through their mobile phones.

He added that later they extorted money from him by threatening to make the video viral on social media. Police registered a case against the suspects and arrested them.

Meanwhile, Hassanabdal police arrested three suspects, including two brothers, for allegedly killing a man and injuring three others over an old enmity in village Bhoigar on April 15.

Hashim Khan along with Mustafa and Babar was allegedly shot dead while his son Umer and cousins Zahid and Naveed were injured.

Police traced and arrested the suspects and recovered three Kalashnikovs used in the crime from their possession. Moreover, Attock police claimed to have arrested five proclaimed offenders. A police spokesman said the suspects were declared as proclaimed offenders by courts in different cases.
