Rs170 million released for Mansehra roads

MANSEHRA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has released Rs170 million for the repair, widening and blacktopping of roads in Mansehra city and surrounding areas.

“These arteries are in a dilapidated condition, so funds have been earmarked for their repair and blacktopping,” Speaker of the KP Assembly Babar Saleem Swati said in a news release issued on Thursday.

He said Rs28 million had been allocated for the repair, widening and blacktopping of Abbottabad Road, Rs27 million for the Khatm-i-Nubowat-Badra Road, Rs25 million for Dub Road, Rs57 million for Chinar Road and Rs36 million for Pakhwal Road.

The speaker also said the tendering process for those projects had been completed, while work would begin soon.
