10 injured in three incidents in Attock
TAXILA: At least 10 people including women and children were injured in various parts of Attock on Sunday, police and Rescue 1122 sources said.
In the first incident, six people on board a Suzuki van were injured when it collided with a mini truck on Rawalpindi-Kohat Road near Pind Sultani.
Meanwhile, two persons sustained critical injuries as rivals allegedly attacked them with axes in Mari Kanjour village in the limits of Attock Saddar police station.
The injured were identified as 60-year-old Akbar and 20-year-old Ikram. Moreover, a couple received critical injuries after a dumper “recklessly driven by an unknown driver” hit them on G.T. Road near Burhan.
Police and rescue sources said Abdul Qaseer was going with his wife in his van when a speedy dumper recklessly driven by an unknown driver knocked the vehicle resulting in the vehicle being badly damaged and the couple receiving critical injuries.
The couple was later shifted to Hassanabdal Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
