DADU: Two children die of measles

DADU, April 30: Two sisters died of measles in the Dadu civil hospital on Sunday. The sisters, five-year-old Zeenat and seven-year-old Kulsoom, daughters of Jhando Tago of Andreen Tago village of the Dadu taluka, were being brought to the Dadu civil hospital but died on way.

Riaz Ali Panhwar, Rehman, son of Noor Mohammad, Ahsan, son of Hussain Bux, Rehana, daughter of Paryal, and Soni, daughter of Akbar also were suffering from the disease.

NAZIM: District Nazim Malik Asad Sikandar has said that owing to poverty, spread of different disease is on the rise in Kohistan area. He was speaking at a free medical camp organized by the district government in the Thano Bula Khan taluka hospital on Saturday.

About 1,200 patients of Karchat, Toung, Palm, Mehda Palari and Thano Arab Khan were provided treatment and medicines by specialist doctors.
