Pakistan Junior Amateur Golf tees off

LAHORE: The Pakistan Junior Amateur Golf Championship teed off at the Rumanza Golf Course in Multan on Wednesday, with five young golfers making a strong impression on the first day.

Saad Habib Malik of DHA led the pack with a stunning six-under-par score of 66, while Rawalpindi Golf Club’s Abdul Moiz Khan was close behind with a four-under-par round of 68.

Three other golfers also played under-par rounds, including Defence Raya’s Mohammed Abdullah Khan (70), Laraib-ur-Rehman of Peshawar (71) and Irtiza Hussain of Margalla Greens (71).

Other notable performances came from Multan’s M. Darmal, who scored a par round of 72 and Sharan Ali Khan, Shameer Majid, and Ahmed Murad Ghumman, who all scored 73.
