TAXILA: Three persons were killed in separate incidents in Hazro, Wah and Taxila on Sunday, police said.

In the first incident, a 60-year-old man was shot dead near Musa Colony in the limits of Hazro police station.

Police sources said Maqsood Hussain was going towards his house when an unknown masked man shot him. The injured was rushed to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital where he died.

A teenage delivery boy was crushed to death by a speeding dumper on G.T. Road near Chachi Mohallah in the limits of Wah Saddar police station.

Police and Rescue 1122 sources said Bilal Sultan, 17, was hit and killed by the dumper outside a food outlet. The dumper driver managed to escape.

Another dumper hit and killed a cyclist on Khanpur Road near the museum in Taxila. Taimur Ahsan reported to police that his father-in-law Mohammad Rauf was going on his cycle when the dumper ran over him.
