LAHORE: Maintaining their winning streak, Pakistan defeated Kuwait to qualify for the next round of the 15th Asian Men’s U-18 Volleyball Championship in Manama, Bahrain.

According to the results released by the Pakistan Volleyball Federation late on Tuesday, Pakistan won the match against Kuwait 25-19, 25-11, 25-19 to secure top spot in their pool.

In the earlier pool matches of the continental event, Pakistan beat India and South Korea.

Pakistan in the next round take on Chinese Taipei on Thursday.

Overall 16 countries are participating in the championship including Pakistan, Bahrain, Thailand, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Iran, China, Lebanon, Philippines, India, Korea and Kuwait.
