Bogie derails near Attock

TAXILA: A bogie of the Peshawar-bound Rehman Baba Express derailed near Attock Railway Station on Sunday evening; however, no casualties were reported.

As per the railway authorities, when the 47 Up Rehman Baba Express from Karachi reached near Attock, one of its bogies derailed after developing a fault.

The railway officials said since the speed of the passenger train was slow, there were no casualties.

The train was then dispatched to its destination after detaching the damaged bogie bearing number 12860.

The railway authorities have said an inquiry had been initiated to determine the reasons behind the derailment.
