UMERKOT: In a bizarre incident, an octogenarian man died after a swarm of giant bees attacked him in Dhoronaro town on Wednesday.

Usman Maher, who was physically challenged, was walking home when the swarm of deadly bees attacked him.

The victim’s family took him to Dhoronaro rural health centre but doctors sent him to Hyderabad in critical condition, where he died.

The bees have so far attacked scores of livestock heads but this is the first time a human has been stung by the swarm and killed.
