170 workers quit ‘nationalistic’ politics

LARKANA: Over 170 workers associated with different Sindhi nationalist organisations announced on Saturday disassociating from nationalistic politics and joining national mainstream.

Speaking at a press conference at Larkana Press Club, Amir Khuhawar, Sanwal Unnar, Gulab Bhutto, Sadam

Unnar, Dilsher Khan, Sheraz Sabzoi and others said that the leaders of nationalist organisations had been exploiting innocent youth for their ulterior designs and using them in terrorist activities to further their anti-state agenda.

They said that the leaders of SRA, JSMM, JSQM and other similar organisations which were being funded by anti-state agencies were residing in foreign countries along with their families and availing all comforts of life but they were sowing in the hearts of Sindhi youth hate against the army.

“We know today that Pakistan against whom we were taking out rallies has given us honour and respect in real sense and appealed to the youth to concentrate on their education and commit to playing a positive role for Pakistan by keeping away from nationalists and linguistic organisations,” they said.

They said: “We are Pakistanis and from this day on we assure law enforcement agencies of remaining sincere with the country and devoting all our energies to the safety and prosperity of Pakistan”.
