MIRPURKHAS: A gang of armed men snatched two young girls after barging into a house and beating up inmates, among them women, at gunpoint in Baloch locality in Tando Allahyar town on Monday.

A torture victim, Ms Khanzadi, told media persons that four armed men forced into the house of Abdul Hakeem Baloch and held the inmates hostage at gunpoint.

They subjected them to severe torture before kidnapping Fatima, 12, and Rafia Baloch, 6, daughters of Abdul Hakeem, she said.

The woman, who was closely related to the hostages, said that they had complained to police but they had not taken action yet.

The injured women were rushed to Tando Allahyar hospital for first aid.

Police had not so far lodged any case of the incident.
