KHAIRPUR, March 4: District Nazim Syed Niaz Hussain Shah has said the local government has taken preventive measures against the spread of bird flu in the district by making available anti-bird flu medicines.

Speaking at a meeting of district officials here on Friday, he said committees had been set up in the eight talukas to deal with issues in this respect. Participants of the meeting were informed about symptoms of bird flu such as severe fever, flu, cold and bone-related pain.—BoC
