QUETTA: A police constable was martyred in a firing incident on Monday morning.

Police said unidentified men attacked Constable Ghulam Murtaza in the Nawa Kili Hana Urak Bypass area.

Police officials reached the area after getting information, collected evidence from the spot and started a search for the attackers.

Later, funeral prayer of Constable Murtaza was offered at Quetta Police Lines, which was also attended by Balochistan IG Abdul Khaliq Sheikh and other top police officials.
