Humanitarian convoy came under fire in Gaza City, Red Cross says
The Red Cross in the occupied Palestinian territories has said it was “deeply troubled” after its humanitarian convoy came under fire in Gaza City.
“It was carrying life-saving medical supplies to health facilities, including Al-Quds [Palestinian Red Crescent] hospital.”
“Under [humanitarian international law], humanitarian workers must be protected,” it added.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said, “Two trucks were damaged and adriver was lightly wounded.”
