‘Situation in Hangu improving’

ISLAMABAD, Feb 12: Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Sherpao has said that the security situation in Hangu is improving and firing in the area has stopped.

Talking to a television channel, Mr Sherpao said the situation was improving rapidly and routine life would come to normal in a couple of days.

He said President Pervez Musharraf had urged the masses to reject extremism and support the government’s progressivepolicies, he said.—Online
