‘Mango and Summer Fruits Festival’ begins on June 2
MIRPURKHAS: The 55th annual ‘Mango and Summer Fruits Festival’ will begin here on June 2, organisers announced on Tuesday.
The three-day annual festival is being held this year after an interval of three years.
On the opening day, growers would display their produce on their stalls for visitors and take part in a competition.
The festival also features Sindhi wrestling ‘Malakhro’, an awareness seminar on agriculture, a musical programme and a fireworks show.
On the second day, judges will declare names of winners and on the concluding day, prizes would be distributed among winners at a ceremony.
