DADU: The Sindh United Party’s Sukkur-Karachi foot march, which began from Sukkur 10 days ago, reached Dadu on Friday after making brief stopovers in all towns on the party’s itinerary.
The party president Syed Zain Shah spoke to the marchers and the general public in Johi, Khudabad and Dadu and said that Sindh was not a colony, which the establishment had handed over to looters and plunderers for 15 years.
He claimed that in Sindh 30 per cent voters cast votes and of them most of the votes were bought from community’s chiefs and elders through revenue officers and police, allowing Zardari to perpetuate his rule and snatch right to rule from Sindhis.
Shah said that Sindh’s resources had been occupied and Sindh government had completely failed to provide basic rights of health, clean drinking water and peace to people, who were braving worst law and order, unemployment and poverty.
