QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo formally inaugurated the e-comp­laint cell established in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Monday.

Member of Provincial Assembly Nasrullah Khan Zeray, Chief Secretary Abdul Aziz Uqaili, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Imran Gachki and S&GAD Secretary Babar Khan were also present on this occasion.

In the briefing, it was said that initially, the departments of health, education, municipalities and home have been included in the complaint cell.

Any public complaint would be forwarded to concerned departments as soon as the CM’s e-cell receives the complaint, so that timely action can be taken.

The complainants will also be able to provide information related to their complaints, while apart from this, the complaint forms submitt­­ed manually will be updated on the cell, an official said during in the briefing.

Body formed to probe Bela bus accident

In the briefing, it was said that later, other provincial departments will also be included in the e-complaint cell.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bizenjo said that the chief minister’s office was a public office and the government was trying to redress the public grievan­ces as soon as possible and solve their problems.

He said that the purpose of setting up the e-complaint cell was to take timely action on public complaints and resolve them immediately.

He added that manual complaints received by the CM Secretariat would also be updated in this cell.

Body to probe Hub bus tragedy

Separately, Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove on Monday said the govern­ment has decided to constitute an investigation committee to probe into Bela bus tragedy that claimed over 40 lives including women and children.

After the accident, the Balochistan government has decided to constitute an inves­tigation commi­ttee to ascertain the facts, a news release said.
