MQM-P holds key to survival, leaders tell workers

HYDERABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan Hyderabad district organiser Zafar Ahmed Siddiqui has said that party workers would not fall prey to any conspiracy or chaos and expressed his confidence that they would welcome everyone who are joining or rejoining the party.

He was speaking at a gathering of party workers here on Saturday. Joint in-charges Naveed Abbasi, Rafiq Ajmeri, Umar Alwari, Iftikhar Ahmed Kaimkhani, Rashid Khan, Nadeem Qazi and others were also present. He said that the unified Muttahida held the key to survival of all. He said that MQM-P had raised the issue of delimitations on every forum and described the controversial delimitations as injustice.

Such injustices were committed against Sindh’s cities in the past and were continuing till date. He further said that initially population of Karachi and Hyderabad was undercounted and this issue was also raised by the party. “Now through flawed delimitations, people of Hyderabad and Karachi are being deprived of true representation. This is the reason that Muttahida boycotted the recent local government elections.”
