CM’s complaint centres to be set up across Balochistan

QUETTA: The provincial government will set up chief minister complaint centers in all districts of Balochistan under the supervision of deputy commissioners to help people register their complaints directly with the government.

A decision to this effect was taken by Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo at a meeting held on Monday to review the law and order situation in Awaran district of Balochistan.

The deputy commissioner of Awaran and other officials briefed the chief minister on the law and order situation and the progress on development projects launched in and around Awaran.

Mr Bizenjo said that besides maintaining law and order in 35 districts of the province, it was also the responsibility of all deputy commissioners to monitor the ongoing work on development projects to ensure timely completion of all these projects.

He said it was also the responsibility of deputy commissioners to ensure improvement in health and education sectors in their respective districts. The chief minister expressed his satisfaction at the performance of all deputy commissioners.

“The government officers should consider themselves as servants of the masses and keep their doors open for the people so that these officers could always be aware of the people’s problems and find out their solutions on priority basis,” the chief minister said, adding that objective of establishing complaint centres in all districts of the province under the supervision of deputy commissioners was meant to be aware of the problems of the masses directly and to make efforts for their resolution at the earliest.

The Central Complaint Centre of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat will be connected through internet to effectively monitor the complaints of the masses and their resolution by the deputy commissioners concerned. The chief minister said the aim of the provincial government’s initiative was to provide immediate relief to the people, especially those living in remote districts of the province.
