Eight held for violating firing ban

Swabi: The police on Monday arrested eight persons for violating a ban on firing in the air.

DSP headquarters Nooral Amin said the suspects were arrested from Yaqoubi village, Swabi city, Adina, Karnal Sher Khan village and Spankani village. He said cases were registered against them in different police stations.

The police also arrested several suspects for possessing illegal weapons, drugs and involvement in crimes.
