Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed shared a video message on Twitter to announce that Imran Khan’s long march would receive “a historic welcome” at Rawalpindi’s Committee Chowk.

He said that Imran would hopefully finalise the date of his arrival at Committee Chowk today.

He further said that an emergency meeting of all focal persons would be called at 2pm on Nov 18 (Friday) to finalise the preparations.

Rashid also said that Lal Haveli — his political office — would be made the long march’s emergency camp office.
