INJURED: Twenty passengers were injured as their bus involved in a race with another bus overturned on the Muridke Road.

The videos of the race between the buses and the accident went viral on social media. The Shakargarh-bound buses were coming from Lahore. Passengers in the buses kept pleading with the drivers to reduce the speed but in vain.

A passenger also kept making videos of the race until one of the buses overturned near Kallarwala Fort.

Twenty passengers, including women, were injured when the bus overturned.

Eyewitnesses, Abdul Hafeez and Nasrullah Khan, who were among the passengers, said the bus driver was drunk as he continued abusing the driver of the other bus.

The bus drivers did not give way to each other and continued to drive on the wrong way.
