NAROWAL: Sui gas and water supply to hundreds of houses has been suspended for the last two weeks after a pipeline was damaged during digging of land for laying a sewerage pipeline.

The residents of the affected areas have been facing problems due to unavailability of gas and clean drinking water. The affected areas include Abu Bakrpura and Hajwir Colony.

The contractor stopped work due to leakage of gas and water after pipes were damaged by excavators on Church Road. The road has been blocked for traffic and stagnant water puddles are also creating inconvenience for pedestrians.
