SUKKUR: A married woman and a youth were gunned down in the name of honour in an area near Baqa bridge within the jurisdiction of Saddar police station in Jacobabad district on Friday.

Police officials concerned said that one Attar Marhato accused his married niece Kazbanu wife of Shehbaz Marhato of having illicit relations with her cousin Talib Ali Marhato and gunned them down in the name of honour.

They said that the suspected killer managed to escape before police reached the crime scene.
