49 kanal land worth Rs28.32m retrieved
LAHORE: Following orders of the Punjab ombudsman, the local administration in various districts have retrieved state land measuring more than 49 kanals worth Rs28.32 million from grabbers.
According to a spokesman, the Pakpattan administration retrieved 40.5 kanals. It also retrieved another piece of six kanal from the land grabbers.
On the other hand, the Gujrat administration retrieved 1.25 kanal from illegal occupants in the area of Sara-i-Alamgir.
The Khanewal administration took possession of two kanal land from illegal occupants, said the spokesman.
