LAHORE: The district monitoring officer, Khanewal, has taken notice of aerial firing allegedly by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf candidate for Punjab Assembly’s constituency PP-209, Faisal Niazi, and issued him a notice to clear his position in writing.

DRO Khalid Mehmood also issued a directive to the Khanewal district police officer for registering a police report (FIR) of the incident, immediately arresting the suspect and submitting a compliance report at the earliest.
