Industrial units promised smooth power supply

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has assured to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the Industrial Estate Peshawar.

In this regard, Industrialists Association Peshawar (IAP) and Pesco agreed to take measures to resolve the manufacturers’ issues regarding smooth power supply.

The agreement came during a meeting between IAP president Malik Imran Ishaq and Pesco chief executive officer Gul Nabi Syed held at the Wapda House here on Friday.

Malik Mohsin Sajjad, chairman IAP standing committee on Pesco and SNGPL, Riaz Arshad, executive member IAP, Rafiq, the estate manager, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company and relevant officials were present.

On the occasion, Mr Syed assured the IAP of resolving all issues on priority.

He also directed speedy re-conducting of the industrial estate feeder on the Khyber Road. He also instructed the relevant officials to bifurcate the Olympia feeder.

The Pesco chief said capacity of the grid station would be increased by installing an additional MV40 transformer.
