ISLAMABAD: Voice and data services of Jazz were disturbed on Thursday evening after the company’s optical fibre cable was cut at different locations.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Jazz said the company’s teams responded swiftly and all impacted services were fully restored. The mobile operator also apologised to its customers and said it was ascertaining the cause of these multiple cuts in fibre cable.

Earlier in March, Telenor Pakistan also faced degradation of voice and data services at some locations as a result of multiple cuts in its optical fibre cable in South Region, which disrupted its services.
