Postponed SSC papers to be held on June 8, 9

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Thursday announced that two Secondary School Certificate papers which were postponed due to PTI long march will now be held on June 8 and 9.

The FBISE, due to the law and order situation in the capital city, had postponed papers of students in classes ninth and tenth. According to the board, the postponed papers now will be held on June 8 and 9 respectively. Whereas, the practical exam, which was to begin from June 6, will now be commenced from June 10. Ongoing exams will continue as per the already announced schedule and students can download roll number slips from the board’s website.

Similarly, British Council on Thursday announced that Ordinary (O) Level and Advanced (A) Level exams in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other parts of the country will be held as per the timetable from May 27. “Please report to the exam venue mentioned in your venue letter shared by the British Council before start of the exams,” the council administration announced.

Meanwhile, Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) schools and colleges will reopen from Friday (today) as per their schedule. The institutions remained closed for two days due to PTI’s long march.
