DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unknown gunmen killed two women in Sheikh Gara area of Tank district on Friday, the police said.

A police official said the women were killed by gunmen riding a motorcycle.

He said the attackers managed to escape on South Waziristan Road after the incident.

The deceased were identified as wife and daughter of Taj Mohammad Gandapur of Kondo Kot area. An eight-year-old girl remained unhurt in the attack, he added.

The bodies were shifted to the district headquarters hospital for autopsy, and later handed over to heirs.

Meanwhile, one person was killed and two others were injured when rivals clashed over a petty dispute in the limits of Gomal University police station of Dera.
