NA speaker calls for provision of education to youth to make them good citizens

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on Sunday said provision of education to the youth and inculcating them with moral values was necessary to make them good humans and citizens.

He said peace, tolerance, kindness and cleanliness were the basics of our religion and “we can meet any challenge by adopting the Islamic way of life”.

He was speaking at the Noor Sehar function organised by Pakistan Sweet Home.

The function was attended by a large number of people, including the chief patron of Pakistan Sweet Home, Zamarud Khan.

The speaker urged philanthropists to visit and support such institutions as it would increase confidence of children living here.

He said there were very few people in the world from whom Allah Almighty took work for helping orphans and deserving people, adding that Zamarud Khan was one of them.

Mr Ashraf said there was a dire need to ensure a safe future for these children to make them good citizens who would play their role for the development and prosperity of the country.

“From the platform of the parliament, I assure all possible support for other welfare organisations including Pakistan Sweet Home.

The welfare and service of humanity is of paramount importance,” Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said.
