KARACHI: Promising Ashab Irfan earned double glory when he captured Sindh Satellite and national U-19 titles as curtains fell on the events here at the Roshan Khan-Jahangir Khan Squash Complex on Saturday.

Ashab brushed aside Uzair Shoukat straight 11-7, 11-2, 11-6 in 22 minutes to land the Sindh Satellite crown.

Earlier, Ashab carved out a 11-5, 11-6, 9-11, 11-6 victory over Khushal Riaz in a half an hour duel to secure the U-19 title.

The women’s final ended in a blaze of glory for Zaynab Khan who inflicted a 11-5, 11-4, 11-3 defeat on Noor-ul-Huda. The match lasted 19 minutes.

Squash legend Jahangir Khan, who graced the finals, gave away the prizes.
