With regard to a news story titled “Alfalah to list exchange-traded fund on PSX on 17th” published on Jan 9, Alfalah GHP Investment Management Ltd has clarified that the Sharia-compliant status of the Alfalah Consumer Index Exchange-Traded Fund is pending relevant approvals and, to date, the fund is not Sharia-compliant.
