Seven matches decided in National Kabaddi

LAHORE: Seven matches were decided on the first day of the 42nd National Kabaddi Championship, which started at the Punjab Stadium here on Monday.

All matches ended up producing lopsided results with South Punjab defeating Railways 54-38, Army outplaying Islamabad 41-16 and Wapda showing utter domination over POF Wah in their 27-12 rout.

North Punjab bulldozed Bannu 27-9, while Central Punjab crushed Sukkur 32-11. Higher Education Commission beat Quetta 15-7.

Seven more matches will be played on Tuesday.
