LAHORE: The wife of former hockey player Olympian Manzoor Junior died and was laid to rest in a local graveyard on Tuesday.

The deceased was suffering from kidney problems and she was on dialysis for the last many years.

A number of hockey players, including Manzoor Senior, Khalid Hameed, Shahbaz Senior, Tahir Zaman, Asif Bajwa, Khawaja Junaid and Ajmal Lodhi besides relatives and friends attended the funeral prayers.
