Private schools directed to give fee concession

PESHAWAR: The Private Schools Regulatory Authority (PSRA) on Wednesday directed all the private schools to provide relief to parents in tuition fee for three months from previous July to September.

The relief to the parents has been given to the parents in fee under KP Epidemic Control and Emergency Relief Act, 2020, according to a notification issued here.

The PSRA has also directed the private schools to adjust the fee in subsequent months that has already been deposited by the parents during the mentioned period.

Under the epidemic control and emergency relief law, the schools getting more than Rs6,000 monthly tuition fee from a student are bound to give 20 per cent relief to the parents while the schools getting less than Rs6,000 monthly fee will give 10 per cent relief to them.
