LAHORE: The power workers from across the country will hold a protest rally in Islamabad on Tuesday (today) against the proposed privitisation of power distribution companies.

The rally to be held under the aegis of the All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union will press the government to take measures for providing cheaper electricity to the nation.

It will also demand safety of electricity workers during the course of prevention of power theft and recovery of electricity dues.
