LAHORE:The opposition PML-N on Monday submitted a requisition with the Punjab Assembly secretariat to convene a session of the provincial house for discussing the ongoing price hike.

Samiullah Khan, Khalil Tahir Sindhu, Khwaja Imran Nazir, Pir Ashraf Rasool, Mian Abdur Rauf and Saadia Taimur submitted the requisition on the direction of opposition leader Hamza Shehbaz Sharif.

The opposition MPAs said that they would hold accountable the PTI government both inside and outside the house for the unbridled inflation in the country.

On the requisition of the opposition, the speaker has to summon a session of the assembly within 14 days.
